This new blog on RadioShows.Live is dedicated to my efforts to create a new radio show platform. I’m aiming to create something with just enough bells and whistles to support an active community of radio show creators, and nothing more! Many of us have experienced both the Amp and Stationhead platforms, and found good and bad things in each. I want to take my experiences and observations from those platforms and build something that is the best of all worlds!

This journey could take months or maybe years, but I’m writing this blog to keep everyone apprised to where my head is at, where I stand in the journey and process, and to ask for folks to test stuff out!

I’m not only writing this blog to keep the community informed, but also as a journal of my hopes, plans, successes and frustrations. Kinda like a notebook that you all can read over my shoulder.

The next few posts will include my top-of-mind list of things I want the new platform to do and my general baby-steps approach to developing the new platform. I will likely also start suggesting ways I could monetize the platform so that it can be sustained and maintained!

Please feel free to comment and converse about any blog post! I want this to be a participatory process. The more input I have, the better the end product.

One last thing, I have incredible patience. We’re all gonna need patience, as this is something I will start developing in dribs and drabs of free time. I expect there will be points where I will hit some stride and dedicate more time in bursts.
